As part of the Workforce Planning team, the Resource Analyst is responsible for the optimisation of crew resources to improve efficiency and reduce expenses while maintaining a sufficient level of operational resilience and upholding adherence to Industrial Agreements, CASA regulations, and internal protocols.
This includes scenario modelling, forecasting, reporting, and coordinating essential inputs and assumptions for monthly and seasonal planning.
This role requires strong partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders with the ability to showcase data sets, key insights and improvements to the business.
You'll have: Background in Data Analytics with a strong understanding of workforce planning fundamentals Highly developed analytic, strategic, lateral thinking and problem solving skills Advanced numeracy skills – ability to analyse, interpret and present numerical data for business insight Proven ability to identify issues, develop strategic options, facilitate or make decisions and plan action Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated capability and commitment to improve roster efficiency and utilisation within a complex organisation Strong knowledge and experience with data extraction and visualisation Advanced user of Power BI and the full MS Office suite including excel and other cloud services About Jetstar The Jetstar Group has airlines in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Japan.
