Job Description Summary : Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance activities on Production equipment to ensure ResMed products meet customer expectations for performance, quality, supply, cost and reliability.
Responsibilities : Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance activities for Production equipment including but not limited to Dosing Units, Moulding machines, Vacuum pumps, Ovens, Barrels, Static Mixers, and End of Arm Tools (EOATs).Document / record all maintenance activities as required for Production equipment.Comply with all standard maintenance and operating procedures, GMP, 5s and Health & Safety policies.Promote a safe working environment by following Health and Safety guidelines as well as implementing & closing out actions for the continual improvement of workplace safety.Contribute to Continuous Improvement activities to change or adapt existing maintenance methods and / or schedules so as to be more efficient.Provide support to other departments to ensure that new projects / equipment are delivered, installed and maintained on time and to the highest standard.Perform other tasks as required.Qualifications and Experience : Strong hands-on skills in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Hydraulic, Pneumatic devices and systems and ability to read and interpret electromechanical drawings.Experience in performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment.Good communication skills (written & verbal), adaptable to change and ability to build strong working relationships.Good understanding of computer systems (MS Office, Oracle).Ability to work in a fast moving and demanding team environment.Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.Proactively self-manage and complete work to the highest standards and in a timely manner.Required : 2 years' experience performing maintenance activities on equipment.Degree or relevant trade certificate (e.g. electrical, mechanical).Preferred : Minimum of 2 years of related experience.Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing facility within the medical device industry.LI-APAC Joining us is more than saying "yes" to making the world a healthier place.
