Our client is advertising an opportunity for an ICU Registrar to permanently join their team at a private hospital in TAS.
The ideal start date for this position is late January - early February 2025.
Position Details: The (ideal) candidate should have 1-2 years of ICU experience, understand the basic principles of life support and care for the critically ill, be familiar with airway support as well as central line insertion, and be willing to move to Hobart.
The private hospital has a 10-bed ICU that deals mostly with surgical patients including those after cardiac surgery.
The registrars roster covers 24/7 in 12-hour day and night shifts.
The Hospital is a non-teaching one, but all our consultants work at the Royal Hobart Hospital which is the biggest teaching tertiary hospital in Tasmania.
So this position may seem good for people who consider their intensive care training in the future.
The remuneration and superannuation can be discussed individually depending on the candidate's experience.
