Residential Youth Worker - Active NightsChild Welfare, Youth & Family Services (Community Services & Development)
Located in ReservoirSCHADS Level 3 pay with excellent penalty rates and salary packaging benefitsYour new role:Our residential youth workers are passionate, motivated, resilient, and supportive.
They act as role models for young people while supporting colleagues to provide a safe and nurturing home environment.
This role requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills, the ability to maintain professional boundaries, and an understanding of how to work therapeutically with young people with complex needs.
You will also require either:
Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and Out of Home Care).A relevant tertiary qualification and a willingness to undertake top-up training to meet the qualification requirements of the Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention.Active Night shift – 74 hours per fortnight.What makes this such a great role for you:Fixed fortnightly active night rosterSCHADS Level 3 pay with excellent penalty ratesSalary packaging is available up to $15,900 plus an entertainment card.5 weeks paid annual leaveOngoing monthly supervisionOngoing training opportunities including opportunities to undertake free TCI trainingWe take the Health and Wellbeing of our people seriously offering a Well Worth It!
