Eastern Murrumbidgee Youth Service (EMYS) is thrilled to announce incredible opportunities for passionate Youth Workers to join our dynamic team on a permanent part time basis.

As a Youth Worker, you'll be at the forefront of change, providing crucial interventions and supports to young people facing or at risk of homelessness.
From offering case management to guiding education, essential life skills and employment paths, you'll be their beacon of hope.

Your Key Responsibilities Serve as a mentor and role model, fostering a positive environment where young minds thrive. Empower clients with essential life skills, from budgeting to meal preparation, ensuring they're equipped for independent living. Work alongside our dedicated Case Managers, offering outreach support to those in need of a helping hand. Requirements for Success Relevant qualifications in Social/Community Welfare/Youth Work/Social Science, or relevant experience. Understanding of youth at risk of homelessness. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and provide support. Professional approach to the role including maintaining professional boundaries. Demonstrated ability to undertake basic functional day-to-day support of clients. A current NSW drivers' licence. Current First Aid and CPR certification. Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
