Job Description Reporting to the Workshop Manager this role is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of tyres for heavy vehicles, thereby contributing to the safety and efficiency of our haulage fleet.
Duties of this role include but not limited to: Conducting thorough inspections to identify and diagnose tyre damage and wear, assess the extent of repair or replacement required for damaged tyres.
Utilising maintenance systems, diagnostic testing equipment, hand tools, and workshop equipment, ensuring a high level of technical competence.
Systematically diagnosing faults in heavy vehicles, prioritising safety, accuracy, and efficiency within specified timeframes.
Promptly reporting new issues or faults to management, emphasising a proactive approach to addressing potential problems.
Effectively managing directed work orders, responding promptly to both driver and workshop repair requests, ensuring a streamlined and efficient workflow.
Undertaking on-the-job training and providing training to others as required, emphasising a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Completing required workshop documentation, paperwork, and in-system data accurately and promptly, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Operating within company and regulatory safety requirements, including undertaking training, conducting risk assessments, reporting incidents and hazards, and participating in workplace investigations.

In addition to bringing your expertise, innovative thinking and drive to succeed, you will also have: Cert II in Tyre Fitting, or Trade Assistant background with demonstrated tyre fitting experience.
Current valid C class drivers' licence.
Strong safety focus.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work both day and night 12-hour shifts.
