Your part in our BlueCare team The Residential Support Officer delivers and performs operational activities through the provision and maintenance of structures for quality and clinical systems, ensuring the provision of high-quality aged care, consistent with the values of BlueCare.
Support quality and clinical activities within designated residential aged care homesIn consultation with the Residential Service Managers, assist to ensure services meet identified needs and standard of quality care (including Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission - Quality Standards).Support site specific quality audits and work with the Service Managers to develop, implement and evaluate continuous improvement processes to facilitate ongoing quality complianceEnsure that the auditing cycle is maintained including completion of service audits as directed, and support action plan progress and completionAssist to review and maintain service self-assessment in support of accreditation or other external agency audits/reviews.Assist with the collection of site specific NQIP data collection and submission as directedAssist the Residential Service Manager and Quality Compliance & Innovation Partner (QCIP) with incident reporting (including SIRS mandatory reporting), participate in investigations and the timely resolution of complaints as appropriate.
Support the Service Manager service level quality meetings driving change and quality improvements across the multi-disciplinary teamSupport complex care management and case conferencing as neededSupport ACQSC readiness including unannounced folders, and supporting documentationParticipate in, and contribute to relevant organisation wide committees, working parties and research activities as requested in order to progress innovation that will support effective and efficient quality service delivery in line with best practiceUndertake other duties as required/directed as service needs evolve.What makes a difference for us?
