Position Overview:As a Project Supervisor at Cairns Quality Homes, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction of residential properties.
You will be responsible for managing various aspects of the project, including build quality, costing, job scheduling, and trades coordination.
Your primary goal is to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: Job Scheduling:Create and manage construction schedules to ensure timely project completion.Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to align with the project timeline.Order materials as needed.Cost Management:Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to the budget.Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.Quality Assurance:Oversee the construction process to ensure work meets quality standards and regulations.Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues promptly.Coordinate the work of various subcontractors and tradespeople on-site.Facilitate communication between trades to maintain a smooth workflow.Safety and Compliance:Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.Address safety concerns promptly and appropriately.Problem Solving:Identify and resolve construction-related issues and conflicts as they arise.Provide creative solutions to unexpected challenges.Reporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate project records, variations, sub-contract agreements, client progress reports, and material orders.Attend weekly meetings on Monday mornings at 9:00 am.Client Relations:Communicate with clients and address their concerns or questions during the construction process.Ensure client satisfaction by delivering a high-quality finished product.Lead and motivate on-site construction teams to achieve project goals.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff when necessary.Qualifications: Proven experience in residential construction project management or a similar role.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and building regulations.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.Why Join Us?At Cairns Quality Homes, we believe in investing in our team.
