The Opportunity

RSL Lifecare's Aged Care Home, Remembrance Village in Wagga Wagga is seeking a Facility Manager to join their team and assume this key leadership role within the facility.

The Facility Manager is a key leadership role for The Remembrance Village. You will be responsible for the overall leadership and oversight of care and service delivery to residents. The position spans all aspects of managing a sizeable and multi-resident home to provide residents with high-quality care in a safe and welcoming home-like environment.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Facility Manager will be responsible for:

• Promoting the profile of RSL LifeCare in the local area by building relationships
• Managing facility expenses
• Demonstrating the RSL LifeCare values in your behaviour, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
• Support and enable the development of the facility management team.

About You

For this appointment we are seeking an experienced leader with a track record in developing and leading clinical services. In addition, the successful candidate will have;
• Minimum 5 years' postgraduate clinical experience within health care, aged care, or another relevant environment.
• Experience in motivating teams, managing performance, and delivering on accountabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Current registration as a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with no current conditions placed upon registration highly regarded
• It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
