To further enhance our estimating team, we are seeking a skilled Residential Estimator to oversee all elements of our modular residential house building projects.
Position Overview: As a Residential Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and sophistication in our estimating processes.
You will collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to create detailed estimates that reflect the true costs of building modular homes.
Your expertise will help streamline our operations and contribute to the overall success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive cost estimates for modular residential projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate and detailed estimates.Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve project efficiencies.Maintain and update our estimating database to reflect current market conditions and pricing.Oversee the preparation of bid proposals and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.Provide insights and recommendations to enhance estimating processes and methodologies.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in modular construction.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.Proven experience as an estimator in the residential construction industry, with a strong focus on multi-residential projects.Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with attention to detail.Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to residential construction.Experience in modular building preferred but not essential.What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A supportive and innovative work environment.The chance to work on exciting projects that shape the future of housing.If you're ready to take your estimating career to the next level and join an industry leader, we'd love to hear from you!
