About the role:
As an established site supervisor, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of multiple projects, with the aid of a junior leading hand. Your ultimate responsibility is to ensure that each project meets set standards of time, quality, safety, and within budget.
Growth within the company is a given, branching into the project management aspect of construction if desired and a senior approach in mentoring young apprentices and junior foremen.
Key responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the project, from initial planning and programming to project completion.Coordination between internal staff, subcontractors, clients, and superintendents.Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner in accordance with plans, budgets, schedules and specifications.Ensure site safety, general housekeeping and streetscape of all projects is maintained.Provide daily updates to the project manager, daily logs and diaries as required.Must have a willingness to get their hands dirty, on the tools, aiding staff members and subcontractors, as required.Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience as a site supervisor on bespoke residential projects.Carpentry background is preferred, but not essential.Excellent communication and leadership skills between clients, subcontractors and consultants.A high attention to detail attitude, with a keen eye for detail.Willing to teach and mentor those around them.A valid white card.Builders license obtained, preferable, but not essential.What we offer: A fair and competitive salary based on experience.A supportive, collaborative, and assisting team environment.Opportunities for growth within the company.The chance to work on high end construction projects.Contact and apply: If you are a dedicated professional, and think this is the right fit for you, we would love to hear from you.
