THE ROLE
The Residential Construction Manager is a critical role in our leadership team, overseeing the transition of residential projects from design to construction.
With the support from our General Manager, you will be given the freedom to develop and implement strategies aimed at taking the business to new heights through improved processes, enhanced delivery, and maximised efficiencies.
Ultimately, this role will ensure our residential construction projects are completed safely, on time, to budget, with the quality standards our TDL brand is known for.
This role will be responsible for:
Effectively facilitating the transition of residential projects from design to construction, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across the Residential Construction Department.
Ensure construction quotes are accurate and align with business profitability expectations.
Monitor departmental efficiency and implement process improvements.
Risk management, which includes overseeing the performance of both the company and our subcontractors.
Procurement and scheduling of residential contracts, ensuring timely and defect-free project completion.
Effectively liaise with the client and our Design team, throughout the design and construction process to ensure constructability of the project and a smooth handover.
What we're looking for:
A passion for design and construction preferably with high-end residential projects.
Strong business and financial reporting capabilities.
Significant project management experience preferably with high-end residential construction projects.
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Technologically savvy working across a variety of IT systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
