Junction Support Services is expanding in the Gippsland region!!About the role: Junction Support Services manages multiple residential units in the Gippsland area (2 in Bairnsdale) operated on a shift work basis, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These units provide medium to long-term accommodation for young people who are on child protective orders through the Department of Families Fairness and Housing (DFFH)
Residential Youth Workers are required to collaborate and contribute with the entire team in assisting residents to achieve their goals, as determined through individual Care and Placement Plans. This requires that workers provide an appropriate response and level of assistance to residence needs, through ensuring that the day-to-day arrangements required to meet each resident's goals are carried out in a safe and secure living environment.

Minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Child Youth & Family Intervention or similar such as Youth Work, Welfare, or Community Services.
