With a strong focus on a person-centered approach to care and support, you will oversee the operations of our 110-bed facility to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet and exceed all required standards.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the center, including the delivery of care and support services to residents.
You will provide leadership that aligns with and upholds our core values, ensuring a compassionate and effective approach to resident care.
Your role also includes: Actively promote and model the Values of the organisation through a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach that actively supports the achievement of an ongoing, meaningful life for each resident.Manage and mentor staff, promoting a holistic, person-centered approach.Oversee and ensure that the WH&S and Injury Management systems are effectively utilised through commitment, resourcing and active participation and engagement.Lead the development of local initiatives to achieve the highest standard of care and services to the residents and which are responsive to their individual needs.Work toward the achievement and maintenance of the center's occupancy, funding and budget targets.Actively implement Clinical Governance actions and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Clinical Governance Framework of the organisation.Skills and Experience: Tertiary level qualification in an appropriate field and/or broad-based and extensive experience in managing a diverse, dynamic and complex service.Exceptional contemporary leadership skills, postgraduate management qualification or achievement towards such qualifications.Demonstrated leadership and performance management experience.High level of experience and knowledge of the Aged Care industry, including contemporary issues, legislation and regulatory compliance, developments and opportunities, and application of the Aged Care Quality Standards.Proven high level of clinical competencies with excellent clinical analysis, interpretation and planning skills.Demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of person-centred support.An understanding of financial management principles with the ability to interpret, act and deliver solid financial results.A good understanding and experience of contemporary human resources practices and management practice.Knowledge and commitment to Equal Opportunity and Diversity and demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC.Ability to pass a National Police Check.Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical.Willingness to obtain or provide proof of a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check.About us: BaptistCare is a leading for-purpose Christian-based care organisation that supports thousands of people across more than 100 locations in NSW, ACT and WA.
