The role As part of a team of experienced aged care professionals, your role will involve you visiting aged care facilities to assess residents using the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) assessment tool. This position will be located in or close to Toowoomba and will undertake AN-ACC assessments at residential aged care homes on behalf of the Department of Health and Aged Care, across the Darling Downs aged care planning region (ACPR), with some assessments also possible in the South West ACPR including infrequent trips and overnight stays in Roma.
Comprehensive training and support will be provided (no prior knowledge of the AN-ACC assessment tool is required). Applicants who have been trained as AN-ACC assessors or currently work as AN-ACC assessors will be considered favourably.
