CONSTANT Security is currently recruiting for exciting new opportunities with our client in the Student Accommodation sector.
We are strongly encouraging applicants who have the necessary skills and attributes to meet the requirements of the role to apply. Candidates from, but not limited to, the allied health sector, education, community and multicultural services, or the student accommodation sector would be welcomed.
We are seeking people who enjoy working with a diverse range of people both local, national and international. We seek mature minded people with good presence and an ability to deal with a variety of situations in a restorative and supportive manner with a focus on safety, pastoral care and student engagement. These positions will support college residents providing a safe and enjoyable experience while studying in a major local university.
These roles will be starting at the beginning of February 2025 with some training and buddy shifts required before that.
We currently have Permanent & Casual overnight positions available across multiple colleges within St Lucia Precinct, with one all-female college (preference for female candidates).
Shift times in this location will be permanent overnight shifts 7 days per week.
RatesMonday- Friday: $34.23
Saturday: $41.82
Sunday: $55.76
P/H: $69.70
Duties may include:Engaging with residents in a positive and friendly mannerGeneral night manager/concierge dutiesIncident management and reportingSite security, safety and general wellbeing of residentsRegular foot patrolsAdministration dutiesResponding to student enquiries and needsApplicants are required to possess the following:Security Officer LicenceCurrent First Aid Certificate/CPRBlue CardRSA or willingness to obtainSuperior interpersonal skillsExcellent communication and report writing skillsHealth and wellbeing qualifications would be advantageous, but not essentialExtensive training is offered, and these positions offer an excellent opportunity for people to look at a change in career, utilising their human service and welfare skills whilst engaging with residents to enhance their experience.
