RESIDENT MOBILITY ASSISTANTS Located at Wayville Fixed term position for 12 months (maternity leave coverage) starting January 2025 til January 2026 Shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm Eldercare is a leading not-for-profit aged care provider in South Australia, with 13 residential aged care homes. At Eldercare, we know that older people in our care want to remain as healthy and independent as possible. The Resident Mobility Assistant is a new role commencing late September that will work closely with our Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Wellbeing Consultants to support the mobility and activity of our residents.
You will assist residents to participate in exercise and physical activity, and achieve reablement goals. You will spend 1:1 time with residents helping them to access spaces within the facility, including outdoors. You will support residents to participate in events and activities, and engage in important social connection.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have existing working rights in Australia Possess a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, Health & Leisure or Ageing Support or Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) A genuine passion to provide care that is person-centered The ability to work individually and in a team Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Enjoy building positive relationships with residents and staff If you want to join our inspiring team, we can offer you:

To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people) and the clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.
