This role will be best suited to someone who has a strong focus on diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for our valued customer base.Responsibilities:Carrying out high quality maintenance, diagnostics, repair work and routine servicing to our premium equipment in the field.Good communication and customer service skills with the ability to build long term relationships and be focused on supporting our customers.Minimising machine downtime and maximising productivity.Completion of inspection reports and other essential paperwork as required.Minimum Requirements:Relevant trade qualification – Certificate III Heavy Diesel mechanics.Ability to understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.Safety Commitment – Proactive awareness and total commitment to Hitachi's number one priority.Demonstrated experience in servicing and/or repairing of earthmoving equipment.Strong communication skills and customer service focus.Ability to navigate technical issues on repair and maintenance services, understand electrical and hydraulic schematics, parts diagrams and repair manuals.Self-motivated and team orientated.Commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures.LR truck driver's licence – essential.Here at Hitachi, we believe that success comes from the partnership of our market-leading products and the quality of our people.
