This role will be best suited to someone who has a strong focus on diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for our valued customer base.In this role you will be responsible for:Carrying out high quality maintenance, diagnostics, repair work and routine servicing to our premium equipment in the fieldHaving good communication and customer service skills with the ability to build long term relationships and be focused on supporting our customersMinimising machine downtime and maximising productivityCompletion of inspection reports and other essential paperwork as requiredAs the ideal candidate, you will have:Relevant trade qualification – Certificate III Heavy Diesel MechanicsAbility to understand hydraulic and electrical schematicsSafety Commitment – Proactive awareness and total commitment to Hitachi's number one priorityDemonstrated experience in servicing and/or repairing of earthmoving equipmentStrong communication skills and customer service focusAbility to navigate technical issues on repair and maintenance services, understand electrical and hydraulic schematics, parts diagrams and repair manualsSelf-motivated and team orientatedCommitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and proceduresLR truck driver's licence – essentialHere at Hitachi, we believe that success comes from the partnership of our market-leading products and the quality of our people.
