Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic, repair and maintenance services to our customer's equipment.
This is a position in which you can work autonomously and make it your own with the full support of our Melbourne branch and our wider company branch network.
Key responsibilities include: Providing onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment including diagnostics, repair and maintenanceBuilding and maintaining excellent rapport with our customer base in the regionCompletion and submission of all relevant paperworkConducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and proceduresTo be successful in the role, you will possess: Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).Proven track-record as a heavy diesel mechanic with earthmoving/heavy machinery experienceOEM equipment experience highly regardedCurrent driver's licenseAbility to work autonomously in the region and proactively solve technical issuesExcellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquetteAn uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and proceduresAt Hitachi, we are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer who recruits based on merit and capabilities.
