Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Broome , far north Western Australia. Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, Resort Shop and Day Spa.
We are currently seeking a customer service professional to join our small, friendly resort based Reservations department as a Reservations Manager . This is a full time position commencing as soon as possible.
You will be responsible for managing the reservations team and being the first point of contact for potential guests and suppliers by responding to incoming calls, emails or fax enquiries and assist the reservations team in maximising revenue.
This position will involve: Have a fully conversant and display knowledge of all facilities and services offered at Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa, including their locations, contact people and operating hours Displaying professional, friendly and helpful service to all guests and staff Data management and control of all reservation information should be maintained as per Resort standards Provide training to Reservations Clerks and Front Office staff Assist and drive upselling within the Reservations and Front Office team to maximise revenue Consult Department Manager on matters including recruitment, rosters, performance reviews, disciplinary action and training To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven customer service experience, with the ability to quickly build positive and trusting relationships over the telephone Previous experience in a similar role within the Hospitality or Tourism industry Previous supervisory or management experience Strong computer skills Proven administrative experience, including organisational and time management skills High level of both written and verbal communication skills, including a good phone manner Previous experience using Opera systems is preferred What's on offer: Competitive industry salary Great working conditions Discounts for all resort facilities Cable Beach Club Resort is one of Australia's most highly-awarded resort holiday destinations, offering superb career opportunities in the hospitality industry for staff that are committed to the pursuit of excellence.
