This is a full-time continuing position with salary in the range $111,154.58 - $124,619.84 (HEW 8), plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%.

About This Opportunity As a Library experience innovation leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of library services at UQ.
Lead innovative projects that combine library and student experiences, digital technologies, and space activation.
This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of student needs, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
Lead and implement innovative projects to enhance student experience, leveraging digital technologies and innovative approaches.
Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including students, staff, and external partners, to identify and address student needs.
Provide strategic advice to the Director and contribute to the development of the Library's strategic direction, focusing on student experience, digital capabilities, and space activation.
Drive the adoption of new technologies and innovative approaches to enhance student learning and research.
Utilise user-centred design principles to create intuitive and engaging digital experiences for students.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of projects and initiatives, and report on key performance indicators.
Any other duties as reasonably directed by the Director of Library Student Experience or Library Executive.
About You Relevant postgraduate qualifications and extensive experience in academic librarianship, teaching and learning, or digital capabilities.
Strong project management and leadership skills.
Knowledge of human-centred design, information literacy, and digital technologies.
Experience in using AI tools and library systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and lead teams effectively.
You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment and may be required to complete background checks including criminal history and education checks.
