This is a Fixed Term Full-Time position until the end of 2025; part-time work arrangements may be available. About the Gender Diversity Service: Gender Diversity Service (GDS) is a specialist outpatient service that offers an affirming approach to support gender diverse young people and their families. GDS is the only specialist service in WA providing multi-disciplinary specialist assessment and access to gender affirming medical care for young people in WA. The GDS also has a well-established Research program and works in partnership with The University of Western Australia and The Kids Institute.

About the Role: We are seeking a Research Support Officer to join our team and provide support to the Senior Research Officer/s in research activities and longitudinal studies within the service. This work will assist in implementing evidence-based clinical care with the aim to achieve positive outcomes for young people. As the Research Support Officer you will assist researchers and clinicians in recruitment of young people and families to participate in GDS Research Cohort.
What you will bring: Undergraduate degree in health sciences or relevant field of study. In particular, this role would suit applicants with psychology or public health qualifications.Previous experience working in a clinical or research role with Gender Diverse people is desirable.Previous experience in research or research administration is preferred.Previous experience in research-based recruitment and data management is preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including demonstrated ability to work and connect with young people.Demonstrated interest, or prior experience working with Aboriginal people, culturally and/or gender diverse people.Ability to work well independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.How to Apply: We welcome your application via the 'Apply for Job' button at the bottom of this page.
