We are looking for a Research Scientist for a 15-month contract (maternity leave cover) with experience in antibody/protein engineering to join our multidisciplinary team. This lab-based position offers a great opportunity to help build our capabilities supporting lead antibody identification, optimization, and progression into the clinic.

How You Might Spend Your Days: Analysing and designing antibody sequences (liabilities, humanisation, immunogenicity, homology models, reformatting) using bioinformatic tools. Contributing to the molecular biology team by designing, ordering and cloning monoclonal antibody and antigen genes into expression vectors. Performing biophysical analysis on monoclonal antibodies. Organizing, supporting, and collaborating with other team members to meet project deliverables and timelines. Using an ELN and database management system to compile data, generate reports, and track inventory. Training and mentoring your peers on antibody/protein engineering. Qualifications and Experience: PhD in a relevant field, or a MSc or Honours degree + 5 years of relevant antibody/protein engineering, molecular biology, computational structural biology. Extensive experience in in-silico antibody/protein engineering and structural biology. Expertise in molecular biology techniques. Experience in mammalian cell culture, transfection, and flow cytometry. Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a cross-functional team. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities. We'd Love to Hear From You If: You have experience in antibody/protein engineering from an industry/drug development setting or academia.
