Job Description Permanent/Continuing, full-time appointment Level 8/9: $107,882 - $133,850 + 17% Superannuation An exciting opportunity exists for a Research Reporting and Analytics Manager to join our team. Working in collaboration with internal stakeholders you will coordinate of all aspects of UOW's strategic research performance reporting and benchmarking. This position is part of the Research Analytics, Systems & Support (RASS) team in the Research Services Office (RSO), part of the Research and Sustainable Futures Division. The RSO is the central coordination point for all University research information systems and analytics, research grants, fellowships, commercial and contract research, and faculty research operations. Responsibilities include analysing complex data sets to identify actionable insights and report on academic research performance; creating and managing interactive dashboards for self-service reporting; fostering relationships with stakeholders, and guiding them in the responsible use of research metrics; and developing documentation and data models to extract information for analysis and reporting. To be successful in this role you will hold a relevant degree with extensive experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training. Demonstrated leadership skills are essential, along with outstanding communication skills and a desire to exceed stakeholder expectations. In addition, your proficiency in Excel, SQL and data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau) is essential, and an understanding of the national higher education sector and research environment will be highly regarded.
