Salary: $84,000 - $93,000 per annum (pro rata) + superannuation

The opportunity:
Are you a dedicated professional trained in or currently undertaking training in Clinical Neuropsychology?
Join our dynamic team at the MCRI Psycho-Oncology Research Team and play a vital role in advancing research and care for children and adolescents undergoing oncology treatments.


This position will provide direct support to the MCRI psycho-oncology research team.
The Research Assistant (trained in or undertaking training in Clinical Neuropsychology) will conduct neuropsychological assessments for children and adolescents who are enrolled on oncology clinical trials and clinical studies in the Children's Cancer Centre at the Royal Children's Hospital.


The Research Assistant will be responsible for administering additional Quality of Life (QoL) measures as needed, coordinating timely neuropsychological assessments, scoring and collating data, managing relevant databases, and writing detailed neuropsychological reports.
This role also includes attending research and clinical meetings, liaising with research and clinical staff to ensure compliance with clinical trial requirements, and assisting with ethics applications, reporting to funding bodies, and preparing written and visual materials for study dissemination.

Your responsibilities include: Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for pediatric patients enrolled in oncology clinical trials and studiesAdminister Quality of Life (QoL) measures as requiredCoordinate the timely execution of neuropsychological assessmentsScore and collate data, manage relevant databases, and write detailed neuropsychological reportsAttend research and clinical meetings, liaising with research and clinical staff to ensure compliance with clinical trial requirementsAssist with ethics applications, reporting to funding bodies, and prepare written and visual materials for study dissemination What we need from you: Registered as a Psychologist with the Psychology Registration Board of AustraliaEndorsement in clinical neuropsychology or eligible for enrolment in the registrar programTraining in or currently undertaking training in Clinical NeuropsychologyProficiency in scoring, data management, and report writingDemonstrated capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentExcellent time management, organisational and analytical problem-solving skillsWell developed verbal and written communication skillsExperience in or willingness to assist with ethics applications and funding reports What's in it for you?
