About the role In this role, you will be part of an interdisciplinary research team conducting research in the area of One Health.
You will project manage a multi-site research project implementing community-based mental wellbeing programs in natural hazard-prone rural communities and assessing longer-term mental health outcomes.
Your role will include liaising with stakeholders, industry partners and local communities.
You will support the implementation of a five year multi-state project.
You will work in partnership with the chief investigator team, a research fellow and research assistants, and local community members.

The School of Psychology currently has an exciting opportunity for a project coordinator working with a team of researchers within the Psychosocial Health and Wellbeing, and the Environmental Psychology and Climate Change Research Groups.
The Psychosocial Health and Wellbeing group focuses on understanding the mental health of those living in rural populations, including in response to natural disasters such as drought and fires which particularly impact rural communities.
The Environmental Psychology and Climate Change Research Group examine the impacts of climate change and resultant natural hazards such as fire, flood, cyclones and drought on health and wellbeing.
Research projects also focus on how to build resilient individuals and communities, including through interventions to support the well-being of those affected by natural hazards and climate anxiety.
