As a Research Partnerships Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering research collaborations that elevate the institution's profile and generate impactful discoveries. You'll be the bridge between brilliant researchers and external partners, from industry giants to government agencies, securing funding and facilitating successful research projects.

Here's how you'll make a difference: Strategic Partnership Building: Actively seek out and cultivate relationships with industry, government, and other research institutions. Expert Guidance: Offer researchers top-notch advice on commercial terms and agreements, ensuring they navigate research partnerships smoothly. Contract Management Guru: Oversee the legal and administrative aspects of collaboration agreements, ensuring they comply with university policies and protect it's interests. Collaborative Powerhouse: Work seamlessly with researchers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure partnerships flourish. Knowledge Sharer: Develop and deliver training programs to empower researchers with the skills to excel in partner engagement. Strategic Decision-Making: Analyse trends and identify partnership opportunities that align with the university's and faculty/institute's research goals. We're looking for someone who: Holds a postgrad law degree and extensive experience in contract management, ideally in the research sector. (Alternatively, an undergraduate degree with proven management expertise and relevant experience can be considered.) Possesses a deep understanding of research contract administration and management at a senior level. Has experience navigating intellectual property management and knowledge transfer. Thrives on fostering successful collaborations and negotiating contracts with external research partners. Is a seasoned player in the higher education research environment. Excels at project management and can deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Communicates effectively with diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally.
