We are seeking a Research Officer (30 hours per week) to join our team at The Children's Hospital at Westmead in Sydney. In this role, you will help children access a mental health program called the Feelings Program. You will work on the digital transformation of program resources, using your knowledge of clinical research in a health or academic environment in this role. The successful applicant for this exciting position will play an important role in helping children with neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and cerebral palsy and their families access the mental health intervention, The Feelings Program. The Researcher Officer will work on projects focussed on the digital transformation of program resources and adaptations for adolescents with cerebral palsy. The Research Officer is based in Sydney at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. The successful applicant will work as part of a research group under the guidance of senior members of the project. The Research Officer will use their knowledge of clinical research in a health or academic environment in the role. They will be expected to organise priorities and work independently and as part of a team, within their level of responsibility Knowledge of science or related paramedical field with clinical trials experience. Excellent time management, organisation and written and oral communication skills. Experience in recruitment, scheduling meetings and following study protocols. Ability to work without supervision and effectively within a team environment. Demonstrated initiative and proactive problem solving abilities. Methodical and analytical approach to work Demonstrated experience in utilising constructive feedback to improve work outcomes and improve work-related skills.
