The Role: The Research Officer, with a physiotherapist qualification, provides evidence-based and family-centred paediatric assessment and practice within a multidisciplinary team, to children and their families participating in research studies, and complete reports to feedback outcomes to families and their designated clinicians. Additionally, the Research Officer provides input, on a variety of projects, into the development of research practices, procedures and protocols specific to physiotherapy components at Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Institute. This role will be embedded within the Research Team and managed by the Program Lead for Technology. You will be based at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Institute at Camperdown, Brain and Mind Centre, The University of Sydney. You will work with the multidisciplinary subject matter experts, including biomedical engineers and academic researchers. You may be required to travel from time to time within Sydney Metropolitan Area. This position is a part-time (0.5 FTE) 2-year contract. If you hold a PhD with experience in the field the position title can be upgraded to Research Fellow. What do we offer?
