THE OPPORTUNITY The Systems Immunology group (led by Dr Seyhan Yazar) in Garvan's Precision Immunology Program focuses on genomics, data analysis and interpretation, combining computational skills with biological domain expertise. The group applies and develops computational methods to better understand autoimmune and allergic diseases to enable better diagnosis and treatment of patients. We take a collaborative approach, working closely with experimental and clinical researchers to tackle problems that address critical unmet medical needs.
Salary: Up to $92, % super + salary packaging (depending on experience)

Completion of research projects in an efficient and timely manner, with outcomes published under joint authorship in peer-reviewed journalsContribution to team and Garvan research projectsPresentation of original research at national/ international scientific conferences, and as invited to seminars locally and/or nationallyCo-supervision and mentoring of students and junior research staffProvision of supervisory assistance in preparation of research grant proposals, including contribution of dataABOUT YOU The key skills and experience include:
