Research Officer

The Front Project is an independent, national enterprise addressing disadvantage and improving outcomes for children, families, and society by realising the benefits of quality early learning.
Position Purpose: The Research Officer will generate and translate evidence needed to achieve an early childhood education and care system that makes a substantial and sustained difference for children. This role will help ensure The Front Project's work is grounded in evidence, pragmatic, actionable, and delivers against the purpose of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities: Research and analyse key issues related to early childhood education, applying this research to TFP's strategic and policy priorities.Prepare high-quality resources, including reports, fact sheets, and discussion papers.Support the implementation of TFP's Measurement, Evaluation and Learning strategy.Liaise with a wide range of external stakeholders, including early learning providers, universities, business leaders, and Government.Produce a range of high-quality, fit-for-purpose written products including public-facing reports and fact sheets, policy and evidence briefs for stakeholders, and research summaries.Qualifications and Experience: A demonstrated capacity to critically analyse research and policy issues.Experience in a research or related role.A qualification in a relevant field, such as social research, evidence translation, early childhood education, or public policy.Strong organisational and project management skills.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).Experience in early childhood education policy, research, or delivery. #J-18808-Ljbffr
