Mater Research is looking for a Research Nurse – Neonatology to join the team!
This maximum term, full-time role will be based at our South Brisbane campus.
As the Clinical Trial Coordinator / Clinical Research Nurse/Neonatal (Level 3), you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of clinical trials/research studies.
You will act as a primary coordinator for clinical trials and clinical research, ensuring that study-related activities are delivered in a compliant and safe manner while overseeing project planning and adherence to Good Clinical Practice guidelines.You will utilize your experience in neonatal nursing to recruit and coordinate participants and families, ensuring participant safety and the success of each research project.You will work in a multidisciplinary team to facilitate quality research that improves practice and healthcare for women and their babies.About you You will be a Registered Nurse with 2 years of Neonatal Nursing experience and a current AHPRA Registration.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and experience negotiating and liaising effectively with diverse stakeholders (e.g., patients, families, clinic and non-clinical staff, sponsors, CROs).Experience in program coordination and stakeholder management skills.Understanding of the Australian Clinical trial regulatory framework and applicable guidelines such as ICH GCP as adopted by the TGA and NHMRC guidelines for clinical trials.Strong organisational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills with competent working knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.Ability to operate independently, exercising initiative and judgment, as well as in collaboration with stakeholders.Ability to acquire and apply standard processes to project-specific protocols.Mater is Queensland's largest and most innovative not-for-profit healthcare service, providing care for almost 700,000 patients a year across a network of 11 hospitals.
