What you'll be doing The Research Manager will manage and coordinate the Cancer Institute's research impact program to demonstrate the value of research translation and innovation in improving cancer care across NSW.
This role will support the coordination and monitoring of the institution's research outputs and activity and will be responsible for following emerging research discoveries, innovations, and programs of work at a state, national, and international level.

A covering letter addressing the Essential Requirements, as outlined in the Role DescriptionA response to the Pre-screening questions, as outlined below.Tertiary and/or postgraduate qualification in an appropriate discipline such as health, public health or health promotion or equivalent, and relevant professional experience and training.Demonstrated expert understanding of the NSW and national cancer research sector including knowledge of research outcomes, trends, issues, policies, and practices.Ability to understand and communicate scientific research terminology clearly and concisely for diverse audiences.Strong communication, qualitative, and analytical skills.If successful for interview, candidates must bring original copies of essential qualifications to be sighted by the panel, and one copy to provide to the panel. Please give an example of when you measured the impact of a research program and demonstrated its value.
