Job Description At Colliers, we're continuing to invest in our highly regarded Property Research team based in the Sydney CBD. This key role will report into the National Director of Research and be responsible for managing all aspects of research across the Retail asset class across Australia.
This role is also responsible for assisting in internal and external presentations to clients, and the promotion of the Colliers profile through marketing and PR activities.
Integral to this key role is the ability to ensure collection of high-quality data on the retail sector.
You will be collaborating and working alongside our Retail market leaders to provide thought-provoking and forward-looking retail research insights and supporting client engagement activities.
This includes working as an integral part of our market leading retail investments team with exposure to Australia's largest retail transactions.
Some of the Key Responsibilities include: Compiling and managing relevant retail datasets to support the preparation of research reports and providing retail analysis and insights to internal and external stakeholders. Pro-actively engage in production of thought leadership style research for the retail sector to assist in driving client engagement. Responsibility for creating and maintaining content for client presentations and participate and present as required to support client engagement activities. Engage with local marketing and PR to assist with media opportunities that leverage our research to support and promote the Colliers brand and our retail operators. Develop key stakeholder relationships across Leasing, Investments, Real Estate Management Services and Valuations and Advisory, nationally. Responsible for forming the retail sector outlook and forecast view in collaboration with our internal property experts. Responsible for providing strategic advice to our internal property experts and external key clients with the ability to effectively present this to all stakeholders. Qualifications Your relevant tertiary qualification will be supported by a minimum of 5 years proven experience in a research role either from a property firm, consultancy firm, financial institution, council or government.
In particular, you will be strong in and enjoy: Statistics / econometrics Formulating opinions and writing commentaries and summaries Cultivating internal relationships Excel - charting and pivot tables Furthermore, you will be someone who enjoys networking and can demonstrate a drive to get things done, with a service-first oriented approach.
