Job Description About the role
Our Knowledge, Insights and Research team within QIC Real Estate is currently seeking a strategic and lateral thinker to enhance our asset performance through data-driven decision recommendations.
As Research Manager, you will maximise the value of asset and market knowledge by managing and implementing programmes, processes, analysis, interpretation, dissemination, and education of insights that embeds data-driven and knowledgeable decision-making.

The key accountabilities are not limited to but include:

Develop and manage the annual plan for asset performance insights, analysis and reporting evolution, thought leadership programs, and educational curriculums in line with team strategy. Identify opportunities for automation and simplification of market and asset performance analysis and reporting to enhance business utility and self-service capabilities. Interpret data and generate insights that supports and influences:Town centre strategy and execution. Product strategies guiding retail evolution and masterplan mobilisation. Strategic asset plans. Marketing strategies. Contribute to the assessment of market economics for development opportunities; review and critically assess work completed by consultancy and data partners to ensure depth of analysis and logic behind conclusions and recommendations. Lead timely and accurate responses to internal ad-hoc asset performance requests, prioritising business needs. About you
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a related industry, ideally with knowledge of property economics, including operational performance measures.
Your previous, demonstrated experience will be highly regarded spanning across key areas such as:
Business translator: high attention to detail with well-developed numeracy and data interpretation skills; an analytical mind with a passion for finding stories in data; can translate complex bodies of data from multiple sources into simple, actionable insights and decision recommendations. High-impact communicator: excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilities; clearly and succinctly coveys' information, ideas and advice to individuals and groups in a variety of situations; communicates in a focused and compelling way that drives others' thoughts and actions. Active contributor to team success: strong team orientation with a collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style; ability to work effectively across multiple teams. Self-motivated and proactive, team-first attitude. Builds strategic relationships: develops and uses collaborative relationships to achieve goals; experience in agency and consultancy management, evolving those relationships to ensure quality and value. Solid ability to maintain rational and pragmatic thinking in high-pressure situations, to progress multiple priorities concurrently without close supervision. About Us About QIC:
