The Office for Research delivers professional research support services with functions spanning grants, research development, research ethics and integrity, research outputs, policy, and performance reporting.
The team works closely with academic colleagues and senior managers to address research priorities across the University and provide high-level strategic and administrative support to Griffith researchers in all disciplines and career stages.The Research Integrity and Quality Officer is a member of the Research Ethics, Integrity and Governance team within the Office for Research and plays a key role in supporting the conduct of high-quality research and a responsible research culture at Griffith University.The Research Integrity and Quality Officer works closely with the Senior Manager Research Integrity Ethics and Governance in the management of research integrity at Griffith including complaints and investigations of potential breaches of the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research.Key Responsibilities

Work with the Senior Manager Research Integrity, Ethics and Governance and key institutional stakeholders to review, develop and implement University policies, processes and procedures to promote the responsible conduct of research and support the Griffith Research Quality Framework.Assist the Senior Manager Research Integrity, Ethics and Governance with the management of research integrity complaints including receipt, initial evaluation, assessment and investigation as required, through to effective resolution, and compliance with corrective actions.Develop and deliver training programs, materials and support tools to support the activities of the research ethics, integrity and governance team, including online programs, workshops and resources appropriate for Research Integrity Advisors, academic and administrative staff, HDR students and ethics committees.Provide advice to all institutional staff and HDR candidates about practices that support the conduct of trustworthy and high-quality research at Griffith.
Liaise with the Researcher Education and Development team to leverage existing research quality training opportunities and further promote these.About You

The successful candidate will hold relevant tertiary qualifications (preferably at the postgraduate level), research experience, and preferably significant experience in research integrity, research ethics and/or research policy.You will also have:Proven experience in research settings, understanding of research methodologies, and familiarity with the research process.Experience with regulatory compliance, research ethics committees, and managing research integrity issues.Ability to analyse research protocols, identify potential integrity issues, and propose solutions.Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex regulatory information and collaborate with researchers.High attention to detail to ensure compliance with research protocols and regulatory requirements.What We Can Offer

This is a continuing, full-time position and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan campus.
As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
Griffith University's campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.Salary Range:The full-time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 8 range $108,764 - $122,356 per annum, plus 17% superannuation.
The total FTE package will be in the range $127,254 - $143,157 per annum.Additional Information
