(HE05) $77,409 - $86,072 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.Continuing opportunity available for a Research Grants Coordinator to join the Research Services team to provide Research Development support services to the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences (HMS).Research Services provides professional staff support services to the University's Research community in relation to competitive research funding/grant opportunities, research grant administration, applications and awards, research ethics, compliance and integrity management, research contract management and research related reporting and collections and general and strategic advice to researchers and research leaders. Research Services sits within Innovation and Commercialisation Services, along with Business Development and Commercialisation.As a member of the Research Development team, the Research Grants Coordinator delivers a range of support including Pre-Award research funding services, coordinating workshops and information sessions, undertaking research reporting and data collection with a high degree of accuracy and integrity, and providing support and services to research funding applicants.You will act as the first point of contact to receive and direct enquiries and provide support for training and development programs.To be successful you will need: Knowledge of the University sector, funding of research and of related structures and processes in a research-oriented field.Demonstrative experience in the provision of administrative, research, grant and project support services including a high level of competence in the coordination of committees and workshops.Demonstrated experience identifying and analysing information and issues to support the development of practical solutions and recommendations for effective client outcomes and the implementation of research grant projects and programs.Demonstrated experience communicating, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, professional and responsive manner to deliver client centric results.Demonstrated experience setting and meeting deadlines, monitoring and reviewing systems and applying well developed interpersonal skills to promote a positive team environment.
