Veritus Research is looking for an experienced Research Governance Officer to join our Trial Advancement Team (TAT) at our state-of-the-art clinical trials facility in Bayswater, Victoria. This is an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced research professional to further develop their career in clinical trial.
Reporting to the Trial Advancement Manager, the research governance officer will manage all regulatory and contractual obligations of clinical trials, whilst utilising the expertise of the wider team, to ensure Veritus Research remains the site of choice for sponsors and participants. By nurturing the relationships between internal and external clinical trial stakeholders, the role safeguards the continued growth and success of the company.
To be successful in the role you will: Work with the Quality and Project Team to review VER guidelines relevant to Governance processes and make recommendations for improvement Identify and manage risk at site by ensuring accurate documentation is in place for all trials Maintain the highest quality and attention to detail with all tasks performed Act as the primary contact and take full ownership on all governance related issues Always represent Veritus Research in a professional, courteous, and competent manner Ensure all VR staff members are aware of governance requirements, providing additional education or support when required Ensure all invoices are raised in Clinibase at the completion of Governance review To successfully achieve these outcomes, you will need to:Be Adaptable to rapidly changing priorities in order to meet timelines and targets

Proactively develop Strategic Awareness to maintain focus on the wider context of VR goals, assisting you to make informed decisions If this sounds like you, and you have: 3+ years of clinical research experience and with a sound knowledge of the regulatory processes, including Research Governance and Ethics Solid knowledge of Medicines Australia contracts, Insurance, Indemnity and Risk Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office suite Excellent oral and written communication skills Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Medicine, Science (or equivalent) Australian Citizen or Permanent Australian Residency *** Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
