(HE06) $86,360 - $93,285 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.20 month fixed term opportunity for a Research Funding Officer (Post Award) to join the Division of Research and Innovation.Research Services provides professional staff support services to the University's Research community in relation to competitive research funding/grant opportunities, research grant administration, applications and awards, research ethics, compliance and integrity management, research contract management and research related reporting and collections such as the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA), and general and strategic advice to researchers and research leaders. Research Services sits within Innovation and Commercialisation Services (ICS), along with Business Development and Commercialisation.Working under general direction, the Research Funding Officer (Post Award) provides high quality central support to post-award management of funded research projects.This role will focus on customer service and providing a positive customer experience, providing efficient and effective post award research administration functions, and maintaining corporate records in relation to University research activities.You will also be required to provide support for the pre-award submission of research funding applications during peak periodsTo be successful you will need: Demonstrated ability to interpret and explain complex documentation, such as grant guidelines and award conditions.Demonstrated attention to detail, numeracy skills, and ability to maintain work accuracy;Demonstrated high-level competence of standard office computer software, internet and database packages, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing IT environments;High level interpersonal and communication skills;Demonstrated ability to use initiative, exercise good judgement, and prioritise competing demands;Experience in delivering a professional, client focused service to a range of stakeholders;Demonstrated ability to work as part of a high functioning team in the achievement of planned goals and objectives; Enjoy an outstanding career environmentThe University of Adelaide is a uniquely rewarding workplace.
