These positions are focussed on i) development of novel drug delivery systems for targeting and modulating the lymphatics; ii) investigating the in vivo fate, lymph node disposition and pharmacokinetics of these delivery systems in rodent models; iii) testing the efficacy of the delivery systems in mouse models of ischemic stroke or vaccine efficacy studies As the successful candidate you will be responsible fori) development of novel drug delivery systems for targeting and modulating the lymphatics;ii) investigating the in vivo fate, lymph node disposition and pharmacokinetics of these delivery systems in rodent models; and/oriii) testing the efficacy of the delivery systems in mouse models of ischemic stroke or vaccine efficacy studies.Ideally, you will have a PhD degree in biomedicine, pharmaceutical sciences, physiology, immunology or related fields. You will have experience working with rodent models, either to understanding pharmacokinetics and biodistribution of medicines, or in mouse models of ischemic stroke or similar disease models. Experience with analytical techniques such as LC-MS/MS analysis, flow cytometry and confocal microscopy is highly desired.
