About the Role
The position will be based at the University of Melbourne Parkville campus, working under the supervision of Prof Nicole Bell, Dr Peter Cox, A/Prof Matthew Dolan and Prof Raymond Volkas. The successful candidate will lead work on theoretical particle and astroparticle physics, with a particular focus on dark matter phenomenology. Collaboration with theorists and experimentalists across the ARC Centre of Excellence for Dark Matter Particle Physics will be encouraged.

Our ideal candidate demonstrates a strong research aptitude with a sound publication record, aligning with experience. They demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and thrive in multi-disciplinary teams. The ability to independently complete research projects with limited supervision is essential.
You will also have: A PhD or equivalent in a relevant area of theoretical particle or astroparticle physicsResearch experience in theoretical particle or astroparticle physics, with a strong interest in dark matter phenomenologyStrong evidence of ability and desire to build an academic research career trajectoryAdditional Information
This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University.
