Position overview
The Centre for Indigenous Policy Research (CIPR) in POLIS: The Centre for Social Policy Research, College of Arts & Social Sciences (CASS) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow to work closely with senior researchers in the Centre on topics related to First Nations social, economic and employment policy. The appointee will undertake literature reviews, perform mixed methods (quantitative and qualitative) research studies, data analysis, and draft written reports. The role will require the Research Fellow to publish in both academic journals and through both the CIPR/POLIS publications series. They will require a detailed understanding of Indigenous Australians and issues facing them and an ability to interact with Indigenous economics, enterprises, communities, community organisations, and government departments. The appointee will have demonstrated experience in mixed methods analysis. The Research Fellow will be given the opportunity to work closely with government and First Nations organisations and will develop and demonstrate expertise and skill in an important public policy domain.
