Our team of researchers lead key internationally competitive research from molecules to medicines, from patient to policy across a range of therapeutic areas.We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow - in Development Biology and Human Genetics to support Professor Mathias Francois and his research team. The primary function as biophysicist will be to develop and implement new solutions to push the boundary of the current analytical methods with a focus on gene regulation processes. The role will also support the Genome Imaging Center assisting users in the areas of imaging data acquisition and analysis.Your key responsibilities will be to:work under broad direction of Prof Francois and in tight collaboration with a computational biologist within the Center. The research officer is expected to utilise their training, technical expertise and scientific knowledge to resolve routine matters relevant to their key accountabilities as well as to develop their own research program.exercise a high level diagnostic skills on single molecule localisation microscopy (SMLM) to suggest approaches to problem solving before consulting with the supervisor and identified experts in the field in order to assess the need around a particular analytical approach.
