plus 17% super (pro rata for part-time)About the Role The Community and Consumer Engaged Health Professions Education Research Fellow will drive research on Meaningful Engagement with Community and Consumers in Health Professions Education.
This role involves supporting the project to completion, including planning, stakeholder engagement, and management of research activities such as ethics applications and data collection.The appointee, an enthusiastic early career researcher with experience in community and consumer engagement in healthcare education, will also coordinate workshops, contribute to curriculum design, and handle communications and publications related to the project.Who We Are Looking For Your background will include qualitative research methodologies, teaching, and curriculum design, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting and developing publications.
You are personable and confident, capable of effectively interacting and building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong organisational and time management skills.
Experience in grant writing and a publication record in relevant fields are desirable.You will also have:A PhD (or expected completion of one prior to commencement of the position), or equivalent research higher degree in health professions education, health, health sciences, or a closely related discipline.Experience engaging with community and consumers (i.e.
patient and public), in health research or education.Experience in qualitative research methodologies, including participatory and focus group methods.High level verbal and written communication skills.This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check.
