Queensland Police Service (Organisation site ) Research and Analytics; Policy and Performance; Strategy and Corporate Services; Brisbane The successful candidate will be joining a high performing team whose vision is to lead collaboration and drive innovation through meaningful, evidence-basedresearch. Working with a diverse range of clients across the Queensland Police Service (QPS) and a range of external stakeholders, the team aims to develop new knowledge that informs operational and strategic decision making and service core capability requirements for this role are:Assist in the evaluation of QPS programs and initiatives and consult with other areas of the QPS on evaluation practices, methods and approaches.Monitor and review policing practices, strategies and initiatives at state, national and international levels and assist in the provision of advice on their efficiency, effectiveness and applicability to the QPS.Undertake research into external and internal issues affecting the QPS.Assist with the provision of well-researched, soundly based and defensible advice to senior management.Liaise with internal and external clients and stakeholders and represent the QPS as required.Provide secretarial support to the QPS Research Committee as required.Role Requirements: Qualification: While there are no mandatory qualifications required for this role, possession of a relevant degree level qualification with a significant focus onresearch and/or evaluation would be considered favourably.
