Library Services | Flexible base location from any of our UniSC campuses Level 7, $99,285 - $108,534 p.a., plus up to 17% employer superannuation Full-time, ongoing appointment The Opportunity Join us in a pivotal role supporting data management initiatives at the University. Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement effective data management practices. Work alongside the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Office of Research, Information Technology Department, Library, and other university members to drive impactful change. Please note , the position will require flexibility to work between UniSC campuses, as required to support the library's strategic and operational goals. For more information, please visit us online Library Services You will provide support and guidance to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) and Senior staff on matters relating to Research Data Management including risks and control measures; development of engagement, outreach, training and support services aligned with the requirements of the Australia Code for the responsible conduct of research and research funding agencies and the UniSC policies for data management planning, research data storage and accessibility; and coordinate the exploration and promotion of potential solutions to store and catalogue UniSC research data and its metadata, as well as promoting and supporting research data management plans. About you Your outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills empower you to influence and foster collaborative relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders. You excel in explaining technical concepts to broad audiences, making complex information accessible and engaging. Your high-level analytical and problem-solving skills enable you to navigate intricate workflows effectively. You thrive in managing competing priorities, consistently delivering outcomes within agreed-upon timelines. Your ability to adapt, communicate, and problem-solve sets you apart as an asset in any environment. You will possess: completion of a relevant degree qualifications with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience or equivalent combination of relevant experience and or education and training; established knowledge of current technologies and standards in research data management, including planning, publishing, storage, sharing and collaboration, access control, intellectual property and policies; proven ability to provide strategic advice and develop and deliver research support services in a university or research environment; demonstrated experience designing and delivering training, advocacy, and outreach programs and services on campus, online, and virtually; and proven ability to work effectively in a team in a fast-changing environment.
