Congress partners with research institutions across Australia to conduct research and evaluations that improve our understanding and service delivery in the health and well-being of Aboriginal people in Central Australia. The Research team is within the Public Health Division and consists of the Research Manager, Senior Researchers, a Senior Evaluation Officer, Research Coordinators, Project Coordinators, Research Assistants and Evaluation Officers.
Congress research team operates with flexibility, adjusting its size and composition based on the needs of individual projects and available funding. This approach allows us to tailor our expertise to each initiative, ensuring optimal outcomes for improving the health and well-being of Aboriginal people in Central Australia.
About the role
The Research Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of research project/s at Congress, including community and stakeholder consultation and engagement. This role collaborates closely with external research organisations, community stakeholders, Congress Senior Research Manager and other Congress services, supervising a team and staff across multiple areas, with training responsibilities. The role may be required to liaise with other organisations outside Congress.
