You will contribute to the research efforts of the Future Industries Institute, and in particular will undertake research on the project titled "Ferromagnetic nanoparticles for targeted hyperthermia treatment of glioblastoma" via a Collaboration Agreement between the University of Newcastle and the University of South Australia.
You will work to achieve project grant outcomes and will have experience in cell culture and assays related to cytotoxicity (especially DNA damage) in a nanomedicine context.
