Research Associate in Hydrogen Storage MaterialsJob no: 527270Work type: full timeLocation: Sydney, NSWCategories: Post Doctoral Research AssociateThe OpportunityThe School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering is seeking a Research Associate for a project led by Rux Energy, focusing on the design and advanced manufacture of carbon composite H2 tanks for heavy mobility.
Your research will involve investigating the mechanical and adsorbent properties of Metal Organic Framework (MOF) hydrogen storage materials, as well as simulating and optimizing the manufacturing process for Rux Energy's patented MOFs.This position will give you the opportunity to develop your industry research and professional activities.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in conferences and workshops, assist with the supervision of students, and have active engagement with fellow researchers both at UNSW and other institutions.This role reports to: A/Prof.
